Pre-cleaning
This stage not only sorts the seeds by size, but also eliminates light, small and large seeds.
Alveolar sorter
It sorts the seeds according to their shape and also separates round seeds from long ones.
Stone remover
It simply eliminates the small stones.
Densimetric table
It sorts grain according to density, thus separating good grain from light grain.
Optical Sorter
It perfects the chain's work by eliminating impurities according to their color. The grain flow is monitored by cameras, and impurities are removed by a jet of compressed air.
Finally, broken, discolored kernels and sclerotia are effectively removed.
Drying
It is carried out at low temperatures in order to preserve the germinative capacity and nutritional qualities of the grains.
Shell Removal
We distinguish two machines :
- A husker for removing the shell of spelt and small spelt.
- The second huller is used to shell lentils.
